There are lot's of organisations you can join that claim to help you serve your local community. However, from what we have seen the majority talk the talk but don't walk the walk. studentmentoring.com have decided to launch our own membership scheme by where you actually do get what you pay for and you will achieve your goal of supporting your local communities.
"Meeting the Challenge" and subscribing to it means that companies can be very specific about what and how they support their local communities. The annual contribution can be seen as a business expense as it is a necessary component of meeting the requirement of corporate social responsibility. The contribution you make enables you to use our professional consultancy and it is set at a level dependant on the size of your company, determined by a combination of turnover, total assets and number of employees.
You don't have to meet all the criteria for each membership and we can design a programme to meet your specific requirements using your company ethos at the core of the programme.
Platinum: Membership Donation: £ 15,000
The Platinum membership is for companies with turnover in excess of £500m, assets of £250m and in excess of 2000 employees. Please remember this is a guide only and you can purchase any of the memberships we offer for your company.
What do you get if you choose this membership:
Approximately 2500 hours of donated time by employees
1 x Showcase Website giving details of all the great work you are doing
1 x challenge day @ a paint balling arena
1 x challenge day @ go karting arena
4 x challenge days @ schools
50 x reading partners / e-mentors, trained, crb checked and placed with a school
Gold: Membership Donation: £ 10,000
The Gold membership is for companies with turnover in excess of £250m, assets of £125m and in excess of 1500 employees. Please remember this is a guide only and you can purchase any of the memberships we offer for your company.

Approximately 1500 hours of donated time by employees
1 x Showcase Website giving details of all the great work you are doing
1 x challenge day @ a paint balling arena

Silver: Membership Donation: £7,500
The Platinum membership is for companies with turnover in excess of £75m, assets of £75m and in excess of 500 employees. Please remember this is a guide only and you can purchase any of the memberships we offer for your company.

1 x Showcase Website giving details of all the great work you are doing

Bronze: Membership Donation: £ 3,000
The Platinum membership is for companies with turnover under of £75m, assets under £75m and under 500 employees. Please remember this is a guide only and you can purchase any of the memberships we offer for your company.

You can us the consultancy to have a "one off event". All one off events are managed by the "Meeting the Challenge" team. Please be aware that you need to book in advance as these days are very popular and we are already taking bookings for 2007.
All of our programmes offer great value for money and we know the work you will do with the children that take part will have a huge impact on their lives and we also know it's great for team morale so your staff that volunteer will have a fabulous time too.
The most important thing to remember is that as long as you are doing something for your local communities it's always better than doing nothing at all. All our members are treated with equal importance and we believe that with a true working partnership no matter how small or large the company is it's a case of working collaboratively and being honest with other.
